The website for Maryville's Parks & Recreation. Maryville boasts ten public parks, a Community Center and an Aquatic Center. The parks contain playground equipment, shelter houses, sand volleyball, tennis courts, skate park, and athletic fields for baseball, softball, soccer and football.
The ADA-accessible Maryville Community Center includes a Gymnasium (3 courts), meeting rooms, an indoor walking/jogging Track, coffee/shake shop, child watch area, men’s/women’s locker rooms, and rooms for aerobics/dance, yoga, cardiovascular exercise, and weightlifting.
The Aquatic Center includes 2wo 125-foot slides, diving boards, eight lap lanes, a jacuzzi bench, spray features, zero-depth entry, locker rooms, and concession area.

Situated just east of Maryville, Mozingo Lake is a 3,000 total acreage park with a 1,000 acre lake that features fishing amenities, a swimming beach, walking trails, a youth camp with cabins, Maryville's 4th of July Celebration, cabin rental, a 95-Site RV park, 50 primitive camping sites, selected hunting areas, 3 boat docks, boat ramps, and large shelters with restrooms.

Located on 320 acres and owned by Northwest Missouri State University, Mozingo Outdoor Education Recreation Area (MOERA) is a haven for people who enjoy outdoor activities. Take in the beautiful Mozingo Lake and surrounding recreational areas or bring your group to take on the challenge course. Facilities include an alpine climbing tower, a climbing wall, low element course, canoeing and kayaking, trap shooting and archery. Businesses, schools, youth groups and athletics teams are just a few examples of the organizations that use MOERA's challenge course to strengthen group relationships and skills.
