Nodaway County Economic Development
Nodaway County Economic Development (NCED), a nonprofit corporation, coordinates economic development services for the City of Maryville, Nodaway County and the Maryville Industrial Development Corporation in the following areas: business development focused on existing business expansion, business recruitment and attraction, and community development. NCED offers free, confidential services including finance and incentives development, site location, industrial development, and small business assistance in support of our other partner development agencies.

NW MO Regional Council of Governments
The Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments serves to provide a forum for the distribution of economic development information and ideas within the five-county region. The Council's staff, in cooperation with the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee, has developed a plan, or "strategy," to guide the Region's development.

Small Business and Technology Development Center
The Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) helps business owners and potential entrepreneurs meet today's competitive challenges. Providing pragmatic, individual counseling to small businesses, coordinating and conducting research small business problems, and conducting conferences and workshops on various topics of interest to the owners of small business. The SBTDC offers consulting at no charge and follow-up services are available for all programs.

Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The award-winning Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Northwest Missouri State University is a service-oriented incubator connecting industry and academics that offers state-of-the-art research facilities, a commercial analytical lab and tailored support for business acceleration. The 46,679 square foot facility provides opportunity to commercialize business including office space, wet labs, analytical and imaging equipment access plus the ability to collaborate with other tenants, faculty and students in a multitude of disciplines. Services for incubator clients are provided by the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and Nodaway County Economic Development (NCED). The CIE also introduces students and interested business to Northwest’s nanoscale science degree which is a newly evolving field representing biology, chemistry and physics.

Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation
Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation is a nonprofit organization which offers free and confidential business coaching. NWMEF provides intensive, one-on-one management coaching and networking assistance, also linking clients to programs and resources.
